⚠️ Fiber Utility Installation

Fiber utility installation will begin in West Fargo neighborhoods next week. Fiber-optic lines help bring high-speed internet service to homes and businesses. Operators will only work within the Public Right-of-Way and Utility Easement areas.

➡️ Please note: This is a private utility project and is not being conducted by the City of West Fargo.

Residents should receive additional information from the utility company before work begins in their neighborhood. Questions regarding construction activities or utility service should be directed to the private utility company.

A map showing active fiber utility work areas, project details, and contact information for questions or complaints can be found at the link in the comments.

See the graphics below for more information about the fiber utility installation process.

Summer is the perfect time to take advantage of our Tree Planting Program! ☀️🌳

Our deposit and reimbursement program for newly constructed homes encourages residents to plant trees in their boulevards. A deposit is collected when a building permit is issued and is refunded once trees are planted.

After completing the online permit and having your property approved for planting, you'll be able to choose from a variety of trees, including small fruit trees and large oak trees.

Learn more about the program and find the tree planting permit through the link in the comments.

Happy planting! 🌱
