🎃👻 TRUNK OR TREAT IS COMING! 👻🎃

We are pleased to announce that our Trunk or Treat Event is scheduled for Friday, October 30th, from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM! 🎃🍬

We’re hoping to make this year’s event even bigger and better than last year, and we would love to see even more businesses, clubs, churches, organizations, sports teams, and individuals come out and set up a trunk to pass out treats! 🚗🍭

If you’re interested in participating, we encourage you to arrive at least 2 hours early to get your trunk set up and ready. The line of families starts forming early, and we want everyone to be prepared for a great night! 👻

Let’s make this a HUGE community event filled with fun, candy, costumes, and lots of Halloween spirit! 🧡🖤

The team is currently holding a fundraiser featuring 5-gallon buckets of laundry detergent, along with several other great products.

If you'd like to place an order, get in touch with any CJHS softball player. If you don't know a player, Jeremy has two players in his household who are selling, and would be happy to help you place an order!

A huge thank you to David Ross, owner of Coal Belt Sales, for his incredible generosity and support of the Frankfort Community Park District!

David stepped up in a big way by donating both the materials and the labor to provide our junior high and high school softball teams with a brand-new storage building for their equipment. This new building will give our student-athletes a safe, secure, and organized place to store everything they need throughout the season and offseason.

We are incredibly grateful for David's willingness to invest not only in our Park District, but also in the youth of our community. Acts of generosity like this make a lasting impact and help us continue improving our park and facilities for the families of West Frankfort.

Swing set #2 is up and ready for use!

The first of our new swing sets is now installed in our Tot Land area!

We have 7 more swing sets that will be going up in the near future, with additional equipment planned for later phases as well.

We hope everyone is enjoying the new updates and improvements. We're committed to making our park even better and will continue improving it little by little. Thank you for your support and patience as we work to create a fun and enjoyable space for everyone!

We have seen an increase in vandalism at the park recently, and we want to remind everyone that if you witness any suspicious activity or property damage, please report it immediately.

We also want to remind everyone that there are security cameras located throughout the park. If you are causing damage or vandalizing park property, there is a good chance you are being recorded.

Recently, individuals unlocked and dragged secured benches across the tennis courts, causing damage to the court surface. If something is locked or secured, there is a reason for it. Please do not attempt to unlock, move, or tamper with park property, even as a joke or on a dare.

We are currently assessing the cost of repairs and will be pursuing reimbursement from those responsible for the damage. Property damage is not harmless fun—it costs time and money to repair and impacts everyone who uses our facilities.

Please think before acting and help us keep our park clean, safe, and enjoyable for the entire community.
