West Grove Borough passes our condolences to the Hammond family on the passing of Borough resident, Mr. Forest Hammond. Mr. Hammond was a former Chief, and a 75 year volunteer of the West Grove Fire Company. Rest in Peace Sir.

The WGFC family regrets to announce the passing of past Chief W. Forrest Hammond. Chief Hammond recently celebrated 75 years with WGFC. He will be greatly missed. We have it from here Chief!

As we approach the weekend, and celebrate America’s 250th Birthday, the Borough and Southern Chester County Regional Police Department would like to remind you of the following:
It’s illegal to discharge fireworks within 150 feet of any structure or vehicle. It’s also illegal to discharge them on public property, ie our parks.
There are professional displays in the area, we recommend attending one of them.
There’s really just 3 options for our resident firework experts:
-You get away with it and spend a fortune doing it.
-You get arrested and miss the rest of your party
-You spend the rest of your life with less than 10 fingers
Much easier to go to a professional display.
