We wrapped up another meaningful Network at Noon this past May at the Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square!

Professionals from across Southern Chester County came together for an afternoon of networking, collaboration, and community engagement.
A special thank you to our sponsor, Kennett Area Community Service (KACS), for leading an impactful and thought-provoking presentation focused on the realities of poverty in our community.

Through an interactive experience, attendees stepped into the shoes of a local mother working to make ends meet, making difficult decisions about finances, family needs, and daily challenges. As participants navigated the day, they gained a deeper understanding of the difficult choices many families face and the stress that can accompany financial insecurity.

The presentation encouraged meaningful reflection, fostered empathy, and highlighted ways our community can work together to support those facing hardship.

He received a Master of Arts in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and honed his skills creating and delivering curriculum that enabled students to achieve Advanced Placement scores worthy of college credit, athletes to improve individual and team skills necessary to compete and win, and business leaders to achieve revenue and key performance indicators that drove growth.

As leaders grapple with greater employee expectations around fulfillment while still achieving organizational results, Bob’s insights accelerate performance. With over 70 attendees, the room was filled with energy, great conversations, and meaningful connections.

This afternoon I testified on behalf of you, the ratepayer, and my Chester County House Democrat colleagues at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) public hearing on the proposed merger between PA American Water Company and AQUA Pennsylvania.

This merger, if approved, would create the largest private water utility in the United States. The monopolization of a natural resource is not in the best interest of working families, seniors or literally any institution. Chester County and all PA families deserve safe, reliable water at a price they can afford.

If you could not attend today’s hearing, the PUC is hosting two telephonic hearings on Tuesday, April 28th at 1:00pm and 6:00pm EST. Call-In Number: 1-888-547-8922 (toll-free), PIN Number: 74903461.
