It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of one of our own — Lily Evans

Lily has been with AMR New Haven since 2023, starting as an EMT and working her way through school and precepting. Lily had been working for the last several months as a paramedic.

Lily not only worked hard, she brought value to our team every day. She had drive, knowledge, and a quick wit to her that made her not only a good provider, but a friend to many.

We would like to share our condolences with all those who are closest to Lily — her family and her friends, and all of those in our community who are hurting at this time.

A life saving program at Saint Francis hospital is putting blood into the hands of first responders before patients even get to the hospital.

Today, members of the Newington Police Department attended an awards ceremony hosted by AMR recognizing life saving incidents throughout the community.

Each year, AMR hosts this ceremony to honor the teamwork, professionalism, and quick actions of first responders who make a difference during critical emergencies.

The Newington Police Department would like to thank AMR for the invitation and for their continued partnership and collaboration in serving the community.
