There were a lot of folks hanging out on the lawn outside the library to view the eclipse this afternoon - we hope you were able to snag a pair of eclipse glasses or found a friend to share!

The library will be collecting eclipse glasses in a box by the circulation desk - feel free to drop by with any unwanted glasses! Any glasses we collect will be sent to Eclipse Glasses USA to be distributed to underserved communities in Latin America, where the next eclipse will occur in the Americas later this year.

Interested in learning more about solar eclipses? The librarians will be happy to help you find books and articles!
