We had a wonderful evening with West Hartford photographer Ginny Kemp!

Ginny shared the inspiration behind her 'We the People' photography project and discussed the journey of bringing the book to life. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this engaging and thought-provoking program.

If you missed the event, there's still an opportunity to experience Ginny's work. Her photography will be on display in the Noah Webster Library Meeting Room for the next three weeks. We encourage you to stop by and enjoy these remarkable images.

A special thank-you to River Bend Bookshop for leading the Q&A discussion and providing books for attendees to purchase. We appreciate their partnership in making this event a success!

Join us on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:30 PM for a special author talk with Daniel O'Connell, author of My Quiet War.

In this powerful memoir, O'Connell chronicles his nearly two decades of living with polycystic kidney disease and his long journey toward a life-saving kidney transplant. As a U.S. Navy veteran, technology leader, educator, and family man, he shares an honest and inspiring account of navigating chronic illness while continuing to lead, serve, and support those around him.

More than a medical memoir, My Quiet War explores resilience, faith, leadership, and the enduring power of purpose. His story offers insight, encouragement, and hope to patients, caregivers, and anyone facing long-term challenges.
