What tips and tricks do you use to outsmart the fish when you're out on the water? Maybe it's the way you jiggle your line, or the lucky lure you put on?
A double-crested cormorant like the one below is a visual hunter. They use their fast reflexes to dive in and chase fish. They don't need treble hooks to catch their prey, their hooked bill helps grab a slippery fish and take it apart for their shore lunch.
