As a reminder, we will have a resource booth, with a Life Safety House at the Ox Roast grounds all weekend long.

Our demonstrations for the life safety house are:

- Today (Saturday): 3, 5, 7
- Sunday: 2,4,6
- Monday: 1, 3

Jefferson Township Fire Department is happy to be apart of the Ox Roast again this year. We will have a safe house trailer on site over the weekend and we will be conducting fire and home safety demonstrations for the kids over the weekend. The safe house provides an opportunity to discuss home escape planning, kitchen and cooking safety, electrical safety and how to escape from a simulated smoke environment. This will be a fun and educational experience for the kids in our community. We hope you stop by to see us this weekend during the following demonstration times:
Saturday at 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00
Sunday at 2:00, 4:00, and 6:00
Still working on a Monday schedule and we will update it soon. Thank you.

When every second counts.

All JTFD personnel have their State of Ohio Firefighter II credentials. While in fire school, and JTFD orientation, donning your full gear and being “on air” under 2minutes must be successfully completed.

Including:
-Hood
-Bunker pants, boots & suspenders
-Bunker coat
-SCBA pack
-SCBA mask
-Helmet
-Gloves

Friendly competition is encouraged. We work hard to better ourselves and each other.

🚨 Personnel Highlight 🚨

Introducing…., Tyler Welch! Tyler is in a part time position with us, with the ability to work across all three unit days, he has been JTFD since this past Spring. He is dedicated to Paramedic school and working at our mutual aide department, Prairie Township FD.

When Tyler isn’t in fire gear or riding the ambulance, he can be found making 3 point shots with his friends or giving them weigh lifting advice. Much time is spent with family and friends.
