We’re hiring! 🚨 The West Jordan Fire Department is looking for full-time Firefighter/Paramedics to join the team.

This position handles advanced medical response alongside standard fire suppression and prevention duties. If you are a certified paramedic looking to join a great department, we’d love to have you apply!

Main Requirements:

• Utah State EMT-Paramedic Certification (plus ACLS, PEPP, and CPR)
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year experience working with the public
• Valid Utah Driver’s License

We are now accepting applications for both our Jr. Firefighter Academies and our Teen Fire Cadet Camp.

Join our dedicated team and make a difference in your community! The City of West Jordan is hiring full-time Firefighters.

💰 Pay Range: $19.08–$26.92/hr (based on 2,912 hrs/year)
🗓️ Apply by: March 18, 2026
📆 Schedule: 48 hours on / 96 hours off after training
💼 Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

Minimum Qualifications:
✅ High school diploma or GED
✅ Valid Utah Driver’s License
✅ EMT-Basic certification
✅ Ability to obtain Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations and Firefighter I & II certifications within one year
