A tiny visitor stopped by City Hall today!

A little black kitten made a surprise appearance in the parking lot and he looked a little scared, possibly hurt, and definitely HUNGRY. 🥺

Our staff didn’t hesitate. They kept an eye on him and quickly called our Animal Control officers, who arrived right away and scooped up the little guy without a fuss.

Huge shoutout to our Animal Control team for being everyday heroes and for making sure this sweet little guy gets the care he needs. ❤️🐈‍⬛

Sometimes, helping our community means helping the tiniest residents, too.

🎨 West Jordan’s newest mural is officially here!

The City of West Jordan celebrated the unveiling of “Vida Del Valle” (Life of the Valley), a vibrant new mural created by artist Beto Conejo in partnership with Salt Lake Community College.

Located on the water tank at 3465 W 9000 S, near SLCC’s Jordan Campus, the mural celebrates our connection to water, community and the generations who will call the valley home.

A huge thank you to Beto Conejo and SLCC for helping bring even more color, creativity and public art to West Jordan! 💙
