Meet Devin Rittenhouse, Purdue Pharmacy's new executive director of development.

Devin’s role is about getting to know the alumni, donors and friends who care about Purdue Pharmacy — learning what matters to and building relationships that connect passions with opportunities to make a difference.

He joins us from Purdue’s Mitch Daniels School of Business and brings years of experience in development and philanthropy.

Brenson Jassim, postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Industrial and Molecular Pharmaceutics has been named a Purdue Innovates Commercialization Fellow.

He is working alongside Associate Professor Severin Schneebeli to advance chemically modified peptide therapeutics designed to improve stability, selectivity and effectiveness. The initial applications focus on protecting the kidneys from damage associated with major heart surgery.

Through the fellowship, he’ll work to move this promising Purdue innovation closer to commercialization and, ultimately, to patients.
