Indiana LTAP Expo is just around the corner! Have you registered? Join us on September 9th and 10th.

This year we’re excited to introduce an EXPO Passport Program and Exhibitor Raffle!

Each attendee will receive an EXPO Passport at onsite registration. Exhibitors will be provided with a stamp to mark each attendee’s passport as they visit booths and/or equipment display(s). When an attendee has visited all exhibitors and completed their passport, they can submit their name for a chance to win a prize.

The raffle will be held during the 2:30 p.m. exhibitor break each day of the event, and attendees must be present to win. Names will be drawn until we run out of that day’s prizes, with prizes divided between the two days of the Expo and presented from the coliseum main stage. Prizes will include items such as Indiana LTAP shirts, hats, and more.

Register today for the Indiana LTAP Expo and don't forget to pre-register for our Project Management for Locals, a Master Road Builder course. This full day course is offered on September 9th and September 10th (single day course).

This session provides local agency staff with tools and strategies for successfully managing transportation, infrastructure, and community projects from start to finish. Participants will learn the fundamentals of project management, including setting clear objectives, developing realistic timelines, allocating resources, and coordinating with stakeholders. The course offers practical approaches to addressing common challenges local agencies face, such as budget constraints, regulatory requirements, and communication across departments. Through real-world examples, group discussion, and interactive exercises, participants will gain a stronger understanding of how to keep projects on track, minimize risks, and deliver results that meet community needs.

Presented by: Todd Morrison, P.E., Technology Transfer Engineer, University of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Thank you to Purdue University's Indiana LTAP (Local Technical Assistance Program) for developing this map showing where our county highway department received calls of trees down on roadways yesterday.

As you can tell, western Marshall County was hit the hardest, especially in Polk Township.
