Our office has received information that there have been some calls to citizens from a 606-744 number asking questions about social security benefits. Should you receive one of these calls hang up. It is a scam call. Never give out any personal information over the phone.

Scam Alert
Some citizens have received a phone call today stating their information has not been entered correctly in a data base for Medicare. The number comes up as a 606 area code.
This is yet another scam trying to get personal information. If you receive a call like this, hang up. Do not give out any information.

This property, located at 16324 Hwy 460 West, Ezel Ky in Morgan County, was seized and forfeited to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office as a result of a drug trafficking and death investigation. Detective Doyle Wilson Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and Detective Matt Easter of the KY Office of the Attorney General conducted the investigation. The sale will be conducted by the Master Commissioner on April 29th 1 pm at the Morgan County Judicial Center. Please check out the Licking Valley Courier for specific details pertaining to the sale. All funds raised will be used to continue the fight against illegal drugs in our county.
