On behalf of Mayor Marco McClendon, the Community Outreach Department, and the entire City of West Memphis, we would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our Citywide Back to School Bash 2026 an incredible success, Serving thousands today! ❤️💙
This special day was made possible through a powerful TRIFO partnership—bringing together the City of West Memphis, the West Memphis School District, and Weems World—with one shared mission: to come together, invite our community partners and vendors to the table, and make sure our students and families are equipped, encouraged, and ready for a successful school year!
A very special thank you to West Memphis School District Superintendent Eric Foister and his amazing team for partnering with us and helping us continue to invest in the future of our children. We are grateful for your leadership and commitment to our students and families!
To our incredible vendors—OVER 35+ vendors who showed up, set up, and gave of your time, resources, talents, and hearts to serve our community—WE THANK YOU! 🙌🏾 Your presence, your generosity, and your willingness to pour into our children and families do not go unnoticed. A huge shout-out to our amazing food trucks, DJ Mitch, Dakota Mills (Apex Alliance) those beautiful balloons and sweet vendors (Exceptional Sweets) for helping make the day even more enjoyable for our families! 🍔🌭🍧🍭 Your contributions helped create an atmosphere filled with joy, fellowship, and celebration.

Today was about so much more than school supplies. It was about community, partnership, generosity, and reminding our children that they are seen, valued, supported, and loved. When a community comes together with one heart and one purpose, there is no limit to the impact we can make!
To our educators: Thank you for answering the call to shape, teach, inspire, and empower the next generation. Your influence reaches far beyond the classroom.
To our students: Walk into this new school year knowing that you are capable, brilliant, and full of purpose. Dream big, work hard, believe in yourself, and never be afraid to ask for help along the way. Your community is cheering you on!
