All dockets set for Wednesday, January 28th will be heard beginning at 8:30 with inmates and then civil and small claims at 10:00.
Normal business hours will resume.

🥶‼️ INCLEMENT WEATHER ANNOUNCEMENT 🥶‼️
Due to the current weather and road conditions, Mayor McClendon has decided to implement the city’s Inclement Weather Policy. All City of West Memphis buildings and facilities will be closed TUESDAY, JANUARY 27.

Regular operating hours will resume on Wednesday, January 28.

However, due to the weather and road conditions, collection crews are assisting our street department and will start on Monday’s routes as soon as they can.

Please continue to leave your trash container out for pick up. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call our Sanitation Department at 870-732-7580.

The "suspect" behind this 2026 winter weather has officially been apprehended by Hernando Police Department’s Officer Potts.

The perpetrator, last seen rocking a blue glittery dress and a pair of shiny new silver "bracelets," was reportedly heard humming about how the cold never bothered her anyway. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for your morning commute. Despite her being in the slammer, her icy "gift" is taunting us. Buckle up buttercup, we are still frozen.
