Honored and humbled to have been invited to address the SPI CODC Class 103 today as they prepare to graduate at the end of the week. It was great to be able to impart some leadership tips and lessons learned over the years. Congratulations to Major Pedro Arcia for finishing strong, I'm extremely proud of you! And a special thanks to Bruce Hannan for the invite!

Excellent Police Work by our Officers and Detectives!

Our officers responded to a report of a fraudulent transaction at a local business. Through quick thinking and solid follow-up work, two suspects were identified using CCTV footage and located shortly after.
Because of the swift action of our officers, this case was solved and our community was kept safe from further harm.
We could not be prouder of the dedication our officers bring to every single call. Big or small, they show up.

Last night, the West Miami Police Department proudly hosted our 2nd Annual Police Awards Banquet honoring the exceptional men and women who serve our community each day with dedication and professionalism.

We were also proud to recognize our retirees for their years of service and thank our Platinum Sponsors for helping make the evening possible.

A special thank you to our Mayor and City Commission for their continued support of the West Miami Police Department and the men and women who wear the badge with pride.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients and honorees on a truly memorable evening.

A truly emotional day as we paid tribute to our fallen hero Officer Leonard C. Tribble who made the ultimate sacrifice on October 18th 1958. What was even more impactful was meeting his sister in law and niece who were at the Law Enforcement Memorial this evening, hosted by the POAT. I can't say enough about this organization as they are responsible for maintaining this Memorial and keeping the memory of heroes alive every year.
