🌟 Celebrating West Milford’s Girl Scouts:

On Friday night, I had the honor of attending the Higher Awards Ceremony at Camp Hope, where we recognized West Milford Girl Scouts who earned their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards through outstanding community service projects.

These awards represent the highest achievements in Girl Scouting and each project showed leadership, compassion, creativity, and a true commitment to making West Milford a better place.

I was proud to personally present commendation letters to every recipient. Their hard work and dedication reflect the very best of our community, and their projects will leave a lasting impact on our town.

To all the girls, families, and troop leaders, thank you for the time and service you pour into the West Milford Girl Scout Organization, and to our award recipients, sending a big congratulations on this incredible accomplishment. You make your town proud, and we cannot wait to see what you do next. 💚

The West Milford Township's Memorial Day ceremony will proceed as planned beginning as close to 10:00am as we can. We also plan on stepping off for the procession from Veterans Memorial Park down to the American Legion on Lincoln Ave as soon as we can after the ceremony. We understand that this may not be the most favorable decision to everyone, but the ceremony is about honoring and remembering those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in order for all of us to enjoy the freedoms that we all cherish and sometimes take for granted. We know that our amazing community will still come out and stand with all of us as we continue to honor that true meaning of Memorial Day!

📢West Milford, please join us this Monday, May 25th at 10:00 AM for our 2026 Memorial Day Ceremony at Veterans Park.

This is a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The ceremony will be followed by a parade, and lunch served by American Legion Post 289.
