Remember when the smoke caused us to cancel the B**r Garden? Well, we are back! Rescheduled B**r Garden September 17th, 2026. Same place, new vendors! Orenda Food Truck (the one in Menard's parking lot) and North Pillar Brewing. Kris and Dani singing all the tunes. Can't wait to see everyone there.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The West Milwaukee Police Department is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of a program to achieve accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards.
Administered by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG), the accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations, and support services.
As part of the on-site assessment, agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling (414) 255-5626 on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Comments will be taken by the WILEAG Assessment Team assigned to conduct this assessment.
Telephone comments are limited to 10 minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with WILEAG’s standards. A copy of the standards is available at the police department’s web page: https://www.westmilwaukee.org/gov/departments/police/
Anyone wishing to submit written comments about the West Milwaukee Police Department’s ability to comply with the standards for accreditation may send them to the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group at the following address:

Due to air quality and concern for residents of West Milwaukee, we are cancelling the B**r Garden Event tonight. We are going to reschedule and new date will be out shortly. Please be safe!

Today is the day!!! We hope to see everyone there. Kris and Dani Crow will entertain you, we have Orenda Cafe; the food truck that sits in Menards; serving up delicious food and new this year, North Pillar Brewing keeping everyone hydrated. WAWM Rec Department will be there with games and Gussie the Clown will be twisting ballons.

We urge everyone to make safe informed choices with the current weather and smoke we are experiencing.
