The West Monroe Fire Department is a ISO Rated Class 1 department, a ranking that is achieved by less than 1% of all Fire Departments nation wide. We have trained personnel and specialized equipment required when responding to the fire, medical and natural disaster emergency needs of the residents and visitors of West Monroe. Our firefighters strive to minimize losses and suffering by providing qu
ick and efficient responses to emergencies. To further serve, we provide fire safety education, public information, building inspections, fire investigations, and community service activities. With the addition of a new station in 2012, our department is prepared to meet the community’s needs quickly and professionally. We respond to all incidents in the city involving fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue and hazardous materials.
