Wow! We are up to 3.4k followers 🙌🏼 Thank you, each one of you, for your outpouring support and encouragement! We are blessed with the most amazing followers on facebook. Since we have many new friends, I would like to share this post again to introduce our ministry. We have exciting times ahead for Two Penny Missions… details to come later. Welcome to our page! If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know and we will do our best to address them. Have a blessed week! 💝

Hey family & friends! We are so excited to have 3.4k followers on this page!! I felt like it was time to do a little introduction and give you all an insight into our ministry. I will answer some questions we are asked often, so you can better understand who we are and what we do/don’t. If you ever have any questions for us, or want to help out in some way, please send us a message or comment below ☺️

✝️ We are a faith based organization and we truly believe we all have the ability to ‘be the change’. Our Heavenly Father created us out of love, so that we would show love to ALL of His people. We were created with the intent of abundant living, living out our purpose, and giving service wherever it may be needed. He did not create us to serve ourselves, but to serve others.

💵 Two Penny Missions is a nonprofit organization that provides food and temporary shelter for those in need. A nonprofit uses its monetary donations to support its main mission. Again, Two Penny’s mission is to provide food and temporary shelter. It takes money to provide a good food pantry for anyone needing food. It also takes money to run our two facilities, Arimathea Trace (our single women property) and Anchor’s Way (our women & children’s property). All of the expenses you would normally have with your home and daily needs, we have with these two facilities and tenants. Our expenses include utilities, security, groceries/needs for tenants, upkeep, and repairs.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Our board members are volunteers and do not get paid to do what they do. Most of them have every day jobs and are busy with their own families, as well. We’ve always asked for your patience with our members because, like you, time and abilities are limited. While we do our best to accommodate everyone, sometimes we may recommend another ministry that is better suited for your needs. Please don’t take this offensive, we just simply can not help every single need. If we can not help you, we will always try to give you an alternate solution.

👔🪑This is something we’re asked the most often. We do not accept clothing or furniture on a daily basis because we don’t have the space to store it until it is needed. If a need for these things arrives, we will reach out on our social media platforms asking for help. Please check our page to see if we need clothing or furniture!

🧾 Another thing we do not do is pay bills. We simply don’t have the budget for this. We have raised money before, for a few bill requests, but can no longer do this. We do provide a nice Christmas for a few families each year. Again, this is a limited amount 🎄

🏡 Our cabins have limited space for people. Our tenants go through an interview process before they are allowed to stay with us. Once they pass the interview, they will be allowed to stay with us free of charge. We provide toiletries, food, laundry room, etc. We expect our tenants to obtain jobs, if physically possible, so they can save money and become self sufficient and independent. Staying with us for free will allow them that “hand up” to save their money and eventually move out with the funds to support themselves. There are certain rules and regulations that must be followed while here. We are helping them to get on their feet again, we just ask that they please be respectful of our rules.

🐶🐈🐍… We, unfortunately , can not accept your pets while staying with us. This is for the safety of our other tenants, as most have children. We also strive to keep our premises clean and damage free. We hope you understand that there will be no exceptions to this rule.

💝 I hope this has been helpful to anyone not quite familiar with our ministry. If you are local, or ever in town, please give us a call and we would be glad to show you our property! We’ve come a long way and could not be where we are today without the love and support of our family, friends, and community. We’ve had hundreds of people come through our doors and lots of success stories as they have moved on. We can not thank you enough for your trust and commitment! Love you all! 💕

Mothers don’t always have the same genetics, same skin, same bloodline, or even the same last name as you. Mothers are those who love you unconditionally, nurture you, pray for you, and support you. They lift you up, they speak life to you, and they guide you. Some of our mothers are close by, some far away, and some in Heaven. You may already be a mother or you may be waiting to become a mother yourself. You may be a new mother, a seasoned mother, or an elder mother. God created mothers to raise up His children, here on earth. Our duties are heavy, but our rewards are eternal. Motherhood is a gift and May 10th, we celebrate ALL of you mothers out there! May God continue to bless you and keep you safe, healthy, appreciated, and loved.

Please share with us a picture of your mother, you and your children, you and your mother, or someone who is like a mother to you. We’d love to see your beautiful gifts! 💖💐
