Just 24 hours left to grab your spot in our Infant, Child, and Adult CPR with AED Certification Class on Monday June 1st. Taught by Bob Beck of Beck Safety and Education, this is the American Heart Association course and the certification is good for two years. Babysitters, lifeguards, parents/grandparents, all are welcome.
Class is 2 1/2 hours long and the cost is $50 paid directly to Beck Safety and Education. For more info and to register:

Come down to The Training Field on May 16th for the Garden Club annual plant sale, and stay for the Spring Foraging workshop by Emily Makrez. SAVE THE DATE!

Annual Arbor Day Celebration - Saturday, April 25, 2026

The Tree Committee will again be sponsoring a celebration of trees and forests at the G.A.R. Library on Saturday, April 25th from 10AM to noon. Children's programs and free tree seedling giveaway (already potted) will be featured. Members of the Tree Committee will be on hand to answer your questions about trees, tree planting, and tree care. This year, the tree seedlings being given away are native, nut-producing species that provide valuable forage for forest animals. They include White and Red Oaks, Shagbark Hickory, American Hazelnut, and Black Walnut. Come join us and celebrate the bountiful trees that make our community so green!
