Family Movie Night at Centennial Park – August 29

Join West Norriton Township Parks & Recreation for a fun summer evening under the stars at our Family Movie Night on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Centennial Park!

This year’s featured movie is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Bring your family, friends, blankets, and lawn chairs and settle in for a great night at the park.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE: WEST NORRITON POLICE NON-EMERGENCY NUMBER 🚨

The West Norriton Township Police Department’s non-emergency phone number is changing.

📞 NEW Non-Emergency Number: 610-635-4300

The current number, 610-630-1700, is being phased out by Verizon and will no longer be in service after August 31, 2026.

Residents are encouraged to save the new number in their phones and update their contact information now.

🚔 As always, if you are experiencing an emergency or need immediate police, fire, or medical assistance, call 911.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with your neighbors and community groups.

We are proud to announce that West Norriton Township has earned Gold certification through the Sustainable Pennsylvania Community Certification Program!

This is a significant milestone for our community and an improvement from our previous Silver certification under the former program.

Even more exciting, West Norriton is now:

🏆 One of only 4 Gold-certified communities in Montgomery County
🥇 One of only 54 Gold-certified communities in Pennsylvania
💎 With only 10 communities statewide having reached the program's highest Platinum level

The Gold designation recognizes West Norriton's work and progress in areas including:

🤝 Intergovernmental cooperation

🎓⛳ Celebrating the Next Generation!

Tonight, the Jeffersonville Golf Club Foundation was proud to recognize three outstanding young people as recipients of our 2026 scholarships: Jax Drost, Logan Shilling, and Syron Bell.

Each of these young men represents what the Foundation’s scholarship program is all about—hard work, leadership, education, and a commitment to building a successful future.

⛳ Jax Drost, a graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School and member of the Jeffersonville Golf Club grounds crew, will attend Saint Joseph’s University, where he will study Business Administration through the Haub School of Business. Jax hopes to build a career combining his interests in business, leadership, and the golf industry.

🏗️ Logan Shilling, also a Boyertown Area Senior High School graduate and member of our grounds crew, will attend Drexel University to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Logan’s academic achievement, community involvement, and work ethic have prepared him well for this next chapter.

👨‍🍳 Syron Bell, a graduate of Upper Darby High School and a member of the team at The Burgess, will attend Indiana University (PA). Syron’s goal is to one day own his own restaurant and create memorable experiences through his passion for food and hospitality.

We are especially proud that all three recipients have a connection to Jeffersonville Golf Club. Whether working on the course or serving our guests, they have already contributed to the Jeffersonville community while pursuing their own goals.

Congratulations, Jax, Logan, and Syron! We are proud to invest in your futures and look forward to seeing where your education, talent, and determination take you.
