The Hope for the Holidays program has been the original goal of the Foundation and one of which we are very proud.

Working with local area school districts to identify under-privileged families, the program is designed to give families the chance to experience the holidays in a manner in which they would not otherwise be able to enjoy on their own. The Foundation’s “Hope for the Holidays” drive not only provides financial support by purchasing necessary items like food and clothing, the program also helps spre

This program was created to assist families in uniform, including families of military personnel returning home from long deployments at war, as well as uniformed officers (police, fire, etc.) that have experienced life hardships during the time they were serving their communities and nation. This program provides needed financial assistance as well as support for any social or emotional distress that these hardworking individuals and their families may be experiencing.

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has been involved in another successful year of our "Hope for the Holidays" initiative. As we wrap up this program we can be proud that we have helped bring the holiday spirit to 23 families with more than 40 children from the Nyack, Clarkstown, and North Rockland communities. There are so many people I would like to thank for both their time and monetary donations to help make this program possible.

We started this charity a little over 6 years ago with the intent on helping one family every year from our community. I am so grateful for all those involved which allows us to help so many more. It is nice to see how everyone comes together to bring joy to the community.

This is all made possible by the the word getting spread on our Foundation. So if you can help share our page we can be in better position to grow the program and reach a goal of helping 50 families next year.

The Chance Foundation is kicking off our annual program to help families around the holiday season.
