Yesterday - Friday - over a few short hours, our volunteers handled 8 calls across Livingston and West Orange, from a motor vehicle accident to seizures to chest pain. From Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) to Morristown Medical Center, our entire emergency fleet was on the road.

A special thank you to our volunteers for dropping everything to assist the community in its time of need.

Today was a heavy volume call day, from Livingston to Verona, and townships in between.

Pictured here are two of our EMTs who provided "House Coverage" with Unit X902 for , while the tended to the injured at the fire scene on Derwent Avenue earlier today.

As always, our thoughts and prayers are with the displaced residents, and the other first responders - including and neighboring apparatus - who quickly got to work.

While it's no coincidence that EMS Week coincides with our annual fundraiser, we're taking an important break to acknowledge all of our responders and dispatchers and the incredible agencies we partner with all year long.

We feel blessed that we're able to improve outcomes at greater rates than before.

Thank you all for your unwavering service, partnership, and for making our communities a healthier, safer place to live. It's an honor to stand together.
