***UPDATE: UP has heavy equipment on scene working to clear the derailment. Road closures have been moved back to Newton Street and extend to Foreman Rd. If you live off of Quincy Street, please use Bonham Street to Newton. Residents along Western Avenue west of Newton will be allowed to exit east on Western. ***

Western Avenue between Quincy and Foreman Rd will be closed until further notice due to a train derailment. Crews are en route to remove the cars, but the roadway at the crossing is damaged and will be impassable until repaired. Please find alternate routes and we will update as the cleanup progresses.
