This Thanksgiving we take a moment to thank all our members who work to protect our communities day in and day out. Their selfless sacrifice and dedication to making our communities better never stops. There are numerous people celebrating this Thanksgiving that would not have been possible if not for the heroic acts of so many PBA members this year. From rescuing residents from house fires to reviving people with CPR. Our members have made a difference.

Our members efforts are not just seen in individual moments, but their everyday work. PBA members have gone above and beyond this year to provide food and funds for people in their communities who were dealing without. Recent Thanksgiving food drives shows the care our members give daily. Over the next month, hundreds of PBA members will step up to host toy drives to make sure Christmas is special for everyone. Their care and concern for those they serve is unmatched.

HELP A FELLOW OFFICER: On June 20, 2025, Roseland Officer Mark Miller, was involved in a serious motor vehicle crash while on duty. Mark suffered critical injuries requiring surgery. He has a long road ahead of him to make a full recovery.

West Essex PBA Local #81 members with Roseland Police have set up a GoFundMe account to help Officer Miller’s family. All donations will go directly to help cover medical bills, mental health counseling, lost income, recovery expenses, his 2 year old daughter Mia and daily living needs as they navigate the road ahead.

Thank you to everyone who came out this past weekend to support our charity hockey games along with FMBA Local 28 against the New Jersey Warriors. Warriors Hockey is a non-profit, volunteer-run program created to give disabled US Military Veterans an opportunity to rehab through Ice Hockey.
