On May 22nd members of the Honor Guard and the 2nd Platoon crews of Squad 5 and Rescue 5 participated in a veterans appreciation event at Colonial Assisted Living. Community involvement is a cornerstone of the West Palm Beach Fire Department.

Yesterday, Firefighter Nicholas Harmueller was awarded Paramedic of the Year at the PBC EMS Providers 2026 Awards Luncheon. WPBFD was also recognized for Crew Call of the Year.
