At Navy Reserve Center in West Palm Beach, our Sailors are training tirelessly for Military Funeral Honors. Whether honoring a veteran who served decades ago or a hero returning from harm’s way, every fold of the flag must be perfect. Every movement must be precise.
It is a solemn commitment to the families of the fallen: We will never forget, and we will always stand the watch until they are safely home.
Honoring the past. Guarding the legacy. ⚓️

Today marks another year since the tragic events of 9/11 — a day that shook our nation, took thousands of lives, and changed the world forever.

Our Chief Selects put together a powerful and moving presentation to commemorate the lives lost on that fateful day, September 11, 2001. Their tribute was not only a remembrance of the nearly 3,000 souls lost but also a reminder of the resilience and strength that emerged from the ashes. We remember the innocent lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families who continue to carry the weight of that day. We honor the strength, unity, and resilience that followed in the face of such unimaginable loss. It’s more than just a date in history — it’s a reminder of who we are when we come together: strong, compassionate, and unbreakable.

Take a moment today to pause, reflect, and remember.

Thanks to the incredible team at Make-A-Wish foundation, little Elijah's dream came true in the most unforgettable way — with a parade of heroes just for him!

Palm Beach County Firefighters, Palm Beach Deputy Sheriffs, and U.S. Navy Sailors all came together to celebrate 4 year old Elijah and his family by filling the streets with sirens, salutes and smiles.

With lights flashing and flags waving, these everyday heroes made Elijah’s dream come true in the most memoriable way. His eyes lit up with excitement as he met the brave men and women he looks up to—and for a brief moment he was able to escape from life to embrace the joy of living.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible. Your love, service, and support brought so much joy to him and reminded us all of the power of community, courage, and compassion.
