Cost & Access: Free and open to riders of all ages—including youth, teens, and adults—available online anytime.

Learn the Rules, Ride Smart, Stay Safe: E-Bike Safe Rider Course

An e-bike on a road next to the beach.
This online course teaches riders the rules, skills, and safety habits needed to ride confidently and responsibly.

The content is designed for all ages and is available online.

The course takes about 45 minutes to complete and lets you go at your own pace.

Once complete, you will receive your Safe Rider Certification. Learn more about the e-bike course and register for free.

📢 Attention Palmetto Elementary Parents & Guardians!

Please be aware that our East Campus is serving as an official voting site today. Polls are open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, which means we will experience heavier traffic than usual during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
Please allow yourself extra time, drive carefully, and exercise patience with our staff, buses, and fellow drivers as we work to keep our students safe.

☀️ What a Great First Day Back! ☀️

We are SO excited to see all our students back on campus — thank you for a wonderful start to the school year! 💙

As we settle into our routines, here are a few friendly reminders to help keep dismissal and drop-off safe and smooth for everyone:

🎒 Backpack Alert: Car Pick-Up Display
A car pick-up display was sent home in backpacks today! Please fill it out and place it on your dashboard when picking up your student. This helps our staff identify students quickly and keeps the car line moving much faster. 🚗💨

🚗 Highland St. Parking & Drop-Off
Please do not park on Highland St. or let students out from the street. Use the car line instead — it's safer and actually faster!

🚌 Bus Riders
If your child rides the bus, please make sure they're registered with the district's transportation system. You'll need your child's Student ID number to complete registration:

📍 Dismissal Pick-Up Locations (East Side)
There are three separate pick-up spots — please head to the right one for your child:

Car Pick-Up: Main entrance
Walkers: Bus loop
