HACER Ministry, Corp. HACER Ministry’s primary programs focus on the most pressing needs of West Palm Beach’s low-income residents: Food and housing. H.A.C.E.R.

In addition, through partnership with other organizations in our area, we provide access to health services and other commu seeks to improve the quality of life for Palm Beach County residents by showing programs in our communities addressing urgent and basic human care needs. The economic recession that began in 2008 continues to adversely affect many people in Palm Beach County. The inability to

pay for such basic needs as food, shelter and health is creating enormous stress on individuals and families and on non-profit organixations in the region that are seeing clients caseloads soar.

FEAST OF GIVING 2024
The now traditional Annual Feast of Giving event presented by HACER with its main sponsors, the Palm Beach County Sheriff Office and the Ballen Isles Foundation, took place yesterday the 20th of November, 2024 in the 33405 area code in West Palm Beach, Florida. Seven hundred turkeys along with a basket with all the ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal were given away. A total of 11,300 lbs. of turkey as well as 700 bags of food with a total weight of 25,900 lbs. were distributed. It was extremely rewarding to see the happy faces of the recipients of these goods but it was even more rewarding to witness the energy and enthusiasm of all the volunteers who gladly donated their time and effort to ensure the success of this event. You inspire us to continue our quest to serve our community.

Quantum Annual Breakfast Meeting
November 19th ,2024

The Quantum Foundation celebrated their annual meeting where over 160 charities gathered to celebrate with the Foundation, the success stories that occur in Palm Beach County as the result of the collaboration of the Foundation with the grass root charities in our communities. It was an honor for HACER to be part of this event as our charity was one of five to be recognized by the foundation and the other charities. Representing HACER were Carmen Cury, program director, Cristina Tejada, secretary of the board, Sara Bayron, assistant treasurer, and Dr. Harry Bayron, president. HACER had the unique opportunity to tell our story, and to present what we are doing for our community. The message was delivered by Dr. Bayron. Our secretary of the board related her association with HACER and her ascension from being a client to now being the secretary of the board. The message was well received, the event was a total success.
Hacer takes this opportunity to thank the Quantum Foundation for so many years of support of our organization. Thank you for believing in us.
