Today was a beautiful reminder of the power of kids helping kids.

Children from our community came together to create artwork that will be shared in children’s hospitals across Palm Beach County. Each brushstroke carried a message of hope, comfort, and kindness for a child who may need it most.

Kohl JVC is so grateful to the families who joined us and to our partner Art2Heart for helping bring this meaningful experience to life.

At the Dorothy & Sidney Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center, we believe in tikkun olam and chesed—and today, our youngest volunteers truly lived those values.

Thank you for helping us show that giving back doesn’t require age, just heart. ❤️

Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center - PBC is partnering again with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County for the Backpack Build Initiative, helping children at Title I schools start the school year prepared and confident.

Volunteer opportunities are available for ages 12+ (with parent supervision), with multiple ways to get involved that day. Community Service Hours will be given to teens who participate.

🌟 Calling All Teens! Earn Community Service Hours While Making a Real Impact! 🌟

Looking for a meaningful way to give back? Teens are invited to lead an Infant Pantry Drive to help local babies and families in need. This is a wonderful leadership opportunity to organize a collection.

✅ Community service hours will be awarded for organizing and completing a drive!

We did GOOD this Good Deeds Day!

What an inspiring day witnessing kindness in action across Jewish Palm Beach. Together with amazing volunteers of all ages, we turned small acts of kindness into big impact for nearly a dozen local nonprofits!

✨ 1,000 Dignity Grows hygiene kits for United Way of Palm Beach County
✨ 300 backpacks from Brooke Jackman Foundation ready for local students PBC.

Join a Global Day of Kindness, right here in the Palm Beaches!

Volunteers of all ages are invited to join us for Good Deeds Day, a hands-on day of service where small acts create real impact.

Led by Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center - PBC, this year’s event brings multiple service projects together in one location. Move through interactive stations as you complete meaningful mitzvot (good deeds) that benefit nonprofit partners across our community. Children will receive a PJ Library® book as a reminder that kindness starts with each of us.
