Palm Beach MPO staff recently participated in a regional tour of the MetroExpress Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor in South Dade, hosted by the Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works.

Principal Multimodal Planner Nathan George represented the Palm Beach MPO alongside members of the SFRTA Planning Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) from Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. The tour provided a firsthand look at MetroExpress operations, facilities, and connections to the broader South Florida transit network.

Regional coordination and peer learning help advance a connected, efficient transportation network by providing insight into how transit investments are planned and integrated across county lines.

- Slow down, especially in school zones and residential areas.
- Keep distractions away while driving.
- Stay alert and watch for pedestrians, cyclists, and school buses.
