Independent oversight doesn’t just track money spent. It also audits the systems that help government run.
The Palm Beach County Office of Inspector General employs Certified Information Systems Auditors (CISAs).
Their expertise helps us assess the technology and business systems government relies on and identify weaknesses that could put private information, public resources, and operations at risk.
It’s one more way we work to enhance public trust in government.

SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL PREPAREDNESS MONTH

National Preparedness Month reminds us to prepare for disasters and emergencies before they happen—at home, at work, and in our communities.

Just as preparing for emergencies can reduce their impact, preparing for risks in government can help prevent problems before they occur.

The Palm Beach County Office of Inspector General identifies risks and promotes strong internal controls, clear policies, effective oversight, and appropriate employee training to help prevent fraud, waste, and misconduct.

Good government doesn't just respond to problems. It prepares for them.
