Palm Beach County PAL PAL provides free recreation and education programs to the youth of Palm Beach County via PBSO

The Police Athletic League program is based on the conviction that young people; if they are reached early enough; can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey through life toward the goal of maturity and good citizenship. The PAL program brings youth under the supervision and constructive influence of law enforcement and expands public awareness about the role of

a law enforcement in their communities. Part of that role is the reinforcement of the responsible values and attitudes instilled in young people by their parents. Studies have shown that is a young person respects a police officer on the ball field, gym or classroom, the youth will likely come to respect the laws that police officers enforce. Such respect is beneficial to the youth, the police officer, the neighborhood and the business community.

Creativity and teamwork were on full display as PBC PAL youth from the San Castle site spent time painting at the Plaster Carousel! 🎨✨

This hands-on experience gave participants the opportunity to express themselves through art, build confidence, and create lasting memories together. We are proud of their creativity and the beautiful work they produced.

⛳🎉 PBC PAL Youth Hit the Range at Drive Shack! 🎉⛳

Our PBC PAL youth had an incredible time at Drive Shack, building confidence, learning new skills, and having fun on the range! A special thank you to the amazing First Tee coaches who spent time working with our youth, sharing their knowledge, encouragement, and passion for the game.

We are grateful for the partnership and support from First Tee in helping create positive experiences and opportunities for our young people. Together, we’re making a difference one swing at a time!

Thank you to everyone who made this season a success! A special thank you to our coaches—including several of our dedicated deputies—who volunteered their time to mentor and support our young athletes throughout the season.

Congratulations to all of our players on a great year, and a big shoutout to our league champions, the Pahokee Sixers! 🏆

Thank you to the Hanley Foundation for spending time with our youth! Through engaging discussions and activities, participants learned about the effects of alcohol and the importance of making positive choices. We appreciate the opportunity to help our youth build the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions.

1st tournament of the year, and the PBC PAL 15/16U team brings home the Prospect Wire Southeast Championship! 🏆

The boys played great all weekend, with everyone contributing to the team’s success. Outstanding defense, timely hitting, and strong pitching were the keys to this championship run. Proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination shown by every player.

A great start to the season—congratulations, boys! ⚾💪
