This special event is all about promoting healthy lifestyles, encouraging physical activity, and bringing our community together. Whether you're an experienced walker or just looking for a fun way to get moving, we invite YOU to be part of this exciting morning of wellness, fellowship, and community spirit.

📍 Meet at: West Point C.A.R.E.S
1128 O.G. Skinner Drive, West Point, GA

⏰ Arrive no later than 8:00 AM
🚶🏽 Walk begins promptly at 8:30 AM

✅ Water provided to keep everyone hydrated

Troup County Early Voting started today at 1700 Whitesville Road, LaGrange.

All precincts will be open on Election Day June 16th.

Happening tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is the big day be sure to come out and join us at 10am for the dedication and push in ceremony of the City of West Point newest Fire Engine and meet the members of the department, Then join us at 12 at the West Point Recreation Softball fields for a friendly game of kickball with citizens, firefighters and police officers. This is going to be a fun filled day looking forward to everyone coming out and joining in the fun.

West Point Splash Park OPENING DAY! 🌞 Tuesday, May 26th.

Operating Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Admission is $1.00 per child, children must be accompanied by an adult.

The City of West Point is proud to support expanded access to healthcare for students through a new on-site clinic at West Point Elementary School - made possible through a partnership with Wellstar Health System (West Georgia Medical Center), Troup County School System, and Callaway Foundation Inc.

The WPES school-based health clinic provides students with access to essential medical services—including initial assessments, testing, and coordinated follow-up care—without leaving campus.
