If you are an active duty officer with a strong interest in teaching cadets and in graduate study in any of the Department's academic disciplines (EE, CS, IT, Cyber), then we are interested in you. If selected, you will attend a top graduate school of your choice for two to three years to earn a Masters or PhD degree and then serve a three-year tour as a faculty member at West Point before returni

ng to the field Army. Each year, we request officers from Human Resources Command (HRC) after conducting an internal board. Selected officers possess an excellent undergraduate or graduate record in one of the department’s disciplines, Strong GRE scores, and an Outstanding Military Record. Other factors include anything that indicates the desire, aptitude, and ability to make a special contribution to the development of cadets as leaders of a technologically complex and transforming Army.
