Join CYS Youth Sports for their Junior Black Knights Travel Soccer Tryouts! ⚽️ These tryouts for the 2026-2027 Fall/Spring Season are free and open to CYS eligible Youth. Tryouts will take place on August 11th and 12th at USMAPS (USMA Prep School, near Washington Gate). Age groups are as follows:

• Girls U10: 6pm-7pm at the USMAPS Lacrosse Field
• Girls U12: 6pm-7pm at the USMAPS Lacrosse Field
• Boys U10: 6:30pm-7:30pm at the USMAPS Soccer Field
• Boys U12: 6:30pm-7:30pm, at the USMAPS Soccer Field

During the season, games will be played on Sundays, with practice twice a week. If selected for a team, the child in question must be registered with CYS through Parent Central, if they are not registered already. Call Youth Sports at (315) 774-9238 for more information.

Join CYS and the School Liaison Officer for our Online Safety workshop! This workshop will take place on August 11th from 4pm-5pm at the School Age Center (140 Buckner Loop).

In it, we’ll discuss Internet safety for elementary schoolers, ways that children use the Internet, the benefits and risks of Internet use, cyberbullying, and how to keep children safe online.

Join CYS for our Youth Sports Summer Pop-Up Clinics! ⚽ Remaining clinics will take place from 3:30pm-5:30pm on the following Fridays:

• July 24th - at Lusk Park
• August 7th - at West Point Middle School Fields

CYS will be offering Youth Swim Classes for ages 4-14 in the Arvin Gym Combat Pool (located at 727 Brewerton Rd)! 🏊 Participants will get acclimatized to the water, and learn swimming basics. Class will run Sep 9th - Oct 30th, and will be split into one of two sessions, sorted by skill: 6pm-8pm Wednesdays, or 5pm-8pm Fridays.

These classes are offered in partnership with Empower Swim Academy and will use their website for class registration. Cost is $180 per person, with 25% discounts for siblings. Registration opens August 17th at 9am. Registration and more info online at empowerswimacademy.com

For new participants, click "Create Account" to register with Empower Swim Academy. When registering, login, click “Bookings”, and filter your search by "Session = West Point Fall 2026". Please make your Empower Swim Academy account by Aug 15th in order to be ready for registration. CYS School Support Services presents: See the Point!—A local tour for Middle & High Schoolers new to West Point. Join CYS and discover all the fun activities and resources this installation and its affiliated locations have to offer!

This event will take place on July 30th from 9am-12pm, and will start & end at the MST (500 Washington Road). Led by our Youth Sponsors, this tour includes:

• The Middle School & Teen Center
• Morgan Farm & the Army Mules
• The West Point Bowling Center
• West Point Golf Course Clubhouse
• Victor Constant Ski Area & Lodge
• West Point Arts & Crafts Center
• West Point Middle School & James I O’Neill High School
• The MWR Outdoor Recreation Equipment Checkout Center

Must wear comfortable shoes and socks. After the tour, qualifying youth (registered with the MST) are welcome to stay at the MST until 6pm. If you will be staying, please pack a lunch.

Get your little one moving and have some fun at our CYS Busy Beez Sports Camp! 🏀 This camp is specially designed for ages 3-4, offering a new and exciting sport to explore each day in a supportive and energetic environment!

There will be two separate sessions: July 27th-30th, and August 3rd-6th. Both will take place at the MST Building Gym (500 Washington Rd) from 10am-11am.
