*ATTENTION*
West Point–Clay County Emergency Management will conduct a special test of the outdoor warning sirens and the Hyper-Reach public alerting system this Friday, weather permitting at NOON.

Although our normal testing day is Saturday, this test is being moved to Friday to allow us to inspect several sirens that have recently been repaired. Some sirens may sound for an extended period while personnel conduct on-site visual and operational checks.

We will also test the Hyper-Reach public alerting system, which may send notifications through:

Telephone calls
Hyper-Reach app alerts
Internet browser alerts
These will be tests only, and no action will be required. All test notifications will be clearly identified as a test.

If severe or threatening weather is possible, the test will be postponed. Please help us share this information to prevent unnecessary concern when the sirens sound or alerts are received.
