It's that time of year again when people are ready to burn off their CRP fields, crop fields, and timber brush.

BEFORE you light them, please call us at 319-372-1310 to report your controlled burn.

This avoids unnecessary responses when someone calls in the fire.

Remember to be mindful of the weather, especially wind speed & direction and check for any burn bans before starting your controlled burn.
