From officers and city officials to our most valued asset—our citizens—each guest brought elegance, style, and grace, making the night truly special. The atmosphere was filled with fellowship, connection, and celebration, reflecting the strong bond we share with our community.

🥚✨ EGGGGGGGS Galore in West Point! ✨🥚
What an egg-cellent turnout we had at Saturday’s Egg Hunt at Sally Kate Winters Park! The smiles, laughter, and excitement from our children and families made it a truly memorable day for our community.
From tasty snow cones to classic hotdogs and fresh popcorn, there was something for everyone to enjoy! 🌭🍿🍧 The park was filled with fun, fellowship, and plenty of Easter eggs.
A special thank you to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office for partnering with us and helping make this event such a tremendous success. We appreciate their continued support and commitment to our community.
Most importantly, thank you to all the families who came out to celebrate Easter together in West Point. Seeing our community come together like this is what makes events like these so special.
We’re already looking forward to seeing even more smiling faces next year! 💛🐣

Just a friendly reminder that our office will be closed tomorrow (Good Friday), Friday, April 3rd, and will reopen Monday, April 6th at 8:00 AM. Please refer all emergencies to 911!

In the meantime, don’t forget to join us for the annual Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 4th at 11:00 AM at Sally Kate Winters Park! Clay County Sheriff’s Department and the West Point Police Department have teamed up to make this a fun-filled event for the whole family, with prizes, food, and plenty of excitement.

We had a wonderful time today coming together today and stuffing over 2,000 eggs—can’t wait to see everyone there!

🚨 PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUEST 🚨
The West Point Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating the following suspect:

Brandon Lamond Hamilton (DOB: 07/21/1993)
• Black male
• Approximately 5’7” tall
• 170 pounds
• Brown hair worn in dreadlocks
Hamilton was last seen on March 30, 2026, on Meadowhill Road, where he fled the scene following a shooting and assault.

Also wanted in connection with this crime is the sister of Brandon Hamilton:
Deundra Hamilton (Shelton) (DOB: 08/16/1986)
• Black female
• Approximately 5’5” tall
• Around 150 pounds

⚠️ Brandon should be considered armed and dangerous. Do NOT approach. ⚠️
