🚨FIRSTIE FRIDAY🚨 Meet the 3rd Reg, 3rd Battalion Commander, Emma Larson!

Here is her advice to the underclassmen:

“Don’t give up. Don’t take life too seriously and take a little time everyday to make someone else better.”

Emma has been BN Sandhurst SGM, G3 1SG, CBT 2 S4, and she is currently the Fury BN CDR. Emma’s Fun fact is that she make a mean french press coffee (hence the song choice). Her hobbies include cooking, piano, and sleeping. Emma wants to branch: FA and to one day be a TAC. Her biggest accomplishment? It’s signing out to taps every night of AY25-1.

🚨FIRSTIE FRIDAY🚨 Meet CDT CSM Calliott Scheuermann hailing from San Leandro California.

Here is his advice to the underclassmen:

“It’s never just about you, show up and give your best. It’s not always easy, it’s not always fun, but you keep driving on and you’ll become a better person.”

His hobbies include anything outdoors and working on his car. His fun fact is that he worked on a Christmas Tree Farm. Cal is currently the 3REG CSM, and he has been the AASLY CSM, and a G3 PSG. His highest accomplishments is the friends he made and living his life well.

This milestone stands for something more than signing a sheet of paper or receiving a meme on one’s door, but about committing to something bigger than one’s self. Starting strong here in the Gopher hole 💪

As we all return from Cadet Summer Training, MIADS, AIADs, and beyond, we hosted our Company In-Brief today by welcoming some new faces while recognizing some excellence with some familiar faces.

2CL CDT Maguire and 1CL CDT Acinapura stepped up to attend Gettysburg on behalf of our busy Command Team (CO - 1CL CDT Yapkowitz / 1SG 2CL Obeng) and led the company Integration day for our New Cadets.

3CL CDT Nawa and CDT Namjoshi were recognized for their outstanding performance at their respective MIADs for Air Assault and Airborne Schools this summer. They were the first to earn our very own Gopher Coins, given by our TAC team.

We are so excited for AY-25, and can’t wait to keep telling the Gopher Story this semester. Stay tune for more Gopher Updates.
