🚲 Parents: Is Your Child Riding an E-Bike or E-Scooter? ⚠️

E-bikes and e-scooters are fast, fun—and come with real safety risks. Many can hit 20-28 mph, making them more like motorized vehicles than regular bikes.

Before your child rides, make sure they:

✅ Wear a helmet!
✅ Know traffic rules – ride with traffic, use signals: STOP AT STOP SIGNS
✅ Stick to safe areas – sidewalks & parks in the Village are OFF limits
✅ Ride the right e-bike class (Class 1 = safest for younger riders)
✅ Use lights & reflectors to stay visible
✅ Avoid phones/earbuds while riding

Let’s keep our kids safe while they enjoy the ride. 🛑 Know the risks. 🚦Teach the rules. 🧠 Protect their heads.
