Village Maintenance Notice!!!!!
Good afternoon, residents!
As part of the Village’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving our sewer system, crews will be conducting smoke testing of the sanitary sewer lines July 14 through July 16. This important preventative maintenance helps identify leaks, damaged pipes, and improper connections so repairs can be made before they become larger issues.
During the testing, you may notice white smoke coming from roof vent stacks, yard vents, or manholes. This is completely normal and is part of the testing process. The smoke is non-toxic, non-staining, and safe for people, pets, and plants.
This project is being made possible through the efforts of our Village Administrator, who worked with RCAP to coordinate this valuable service for our community. We appreciate the opportunity to take proactive steps to maintain and improve our Village’s infrastructure.
