Due to the storm last night, many of our parks are without internet service and are operating on a cash only basis.

There are some closures due to power outages and damage:
Indian Island Golf Course
Sears Bellows
Meschutt Beach

We are actively working on alternative solutions to minimize the disruption and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will provide updates as they become available.

🚨 Update from Indian Island Golf Course! 🚨

Great news! The cable line has been repaired, and we are back up.

We are now accepting both cash and credit card payments again. Thank you for your patience and understanding while the issue was being resolved.

Due to damaged cable lines, the internet is currently down at Indian Island Golf Course. As a result, cash only payments will be accepted today.

In preparation for the Independence Day Holiday weekend, we would like to provide Smith Point Beach visitors with some important information regarding park hours and Outer Beach status. The Outer Beach will open at 7am, there will be no early arrivals allowed.
The main parking lot and the East Booth will open at 8:30am. The Outer Beach will close at 9pm and the park will close at 10pm. Lifeguards will be on duty until 7pm through Sunday. Weekend/Holiday Parking rates will be charged Friday, Saturday and Sunday;
Green Key card holders (all types) pay $9, non-residents/non-Green Key card holders pay $18.

Additional Outer Beach info: effective today, 7/2/2026, the daytrip area has been expanded, with the new barricade still west of Cut 2. Aproximately 360 cars will fit on the new day trip area. Please see the attached map for details.
