Good morning! I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas. Did you get all the books you wished for? The winter months are a great time to cozy up with a book that can take you to far away places you have never visited. If you are looking for something specific, send me a message before you buy it. Good morning, Everyone. Welcome to the holiday season at the libraries. As I posted last year, I will not be taking letters to Santa anymore. My husband had a stroke on Halloween. Instead of making a recovery, he had two more in March and April. He is in long term care. As much as I loved the letters, my priority is with him. There is a wonderful relatively new location you can take your letters to. It’s North Pole Post Office-Ruppel Branch. It is located at 80 Wetherstone Drive in West Seneca. I believe they will get hundreds of letters this season. Please make sure your child’s first name is legible and you have a return address. As far as Grandma Roxann’s Little Free Library, I will be filling the libraries with holiday and seasonal books this weekend. I will also have three giveaways between now and Christmas Day. Update-The man who picked up the wrong book came back today. He was picking it up for a friend of a friend. He did not know her first name. He kept it to give it back to her. I jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Hi Everyone! I hope the people who picked up their books are enjoying them. It was a little disappointing that five books were not picked up. I left them on the porch until 7:00 PM last night. I used to keep reminding the winners to pick them up for over a week. I just couldn’t do that anymore. I did put one book out last night. It was clearly marked ‘BRENDA’. Some bold man came up, looked at the name and knew it wasn’t for him. He took it anyway. Not nice. In the future, please don’t enter your name in the drawing if you can’t pick it up in the posted allotted time. In other Sunday news, I put Halloween books and other little items in. Have a great Halloween. After Halloween weekend, these Little Libraries go right into holiday mode. 🦃🕎🎄❄️

Good afternoon readers. I hope you enjoyed summer. October 5-11 is Banned Book Week. Normally, I would fill my libraries with titles like you see here. Also classics such as Charlotte’s Web, Harry Potter series, James and the Giant Peach and A Light in the Attic. The list goes on and on. I decided not to subject myself to books being tossed out that someone doesn’t approve of. But I do not and will not censor my libraries. If your child brings a book from here you don’t like, just send it back. Go Bills!!
