On Wednesday, students got to soak either Mrs. Humphrey, Mr Kennedy, Mrs. Joos, or Miss Larissa as an incentive to try their best on the NHSAS test. Students earned the number of water balloons they got to throw. We had so much fun that at the end, students in the other grades got to join in.
At the very end, the 8th graders asked if they could dump the cold water over Mrs. Humphrey's head!
Thank you to everyone for a fun afternoon, and to our students, who tried their best and really showed all the wonderful things they know.

On Monday, Officer Chris Egan visited SCS to teach our 5th-grade students basic survival skills: shelter, water, & fire. While reflecting on our novel series, Hatchet, Officer Egan presented instructions for building two survival shelters, and the kids built them. Students were also able to test out flint and steel to simulate building a fire.

Last week, students in grades 5 through 8 went to Parc de la Gorge and GloGolf Coaticook, QC. They had a wonderful time.

Last night was our Student Showcase and Spring concert. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend. We drew the winner of the quilt and will post once they have been contacted.

Don't forget, tonight is our Spring Student Showcase and Concert. Showcase starts at 5:00 (student-led conference), and the concert starts at 6:00 pm.
We will also be drawing the winner of the Quilt raffle.

The 8th-grade class went to Montreal, Canada, yesterday for their field trip. They went to La Ronde Montreal (Six Flags).
