Registration Fee: $15 (youths 12- free)
Registration 6:00am-12:00pm
Derby Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm
Prizes and awards to follow.

Fishing on both North and South basins of Cheshire Lake

Steve Traver, 73, probably would have stayed on but for the state’s retirement age mandates, although he was granted several extensions after he turned 65.

The members at Lenox PD would like to congratulate Louis “Lou” Fortune who was awarded the “Man of the Decade” award at the Lenox VFW post! Lou is a huge supporter of the Lenox and Lenox Dale communities and also both the PD and FD’s. Well deserved Lou, congratulations!!

The Dalton Fire District is sad to report the passing of retired firefighter Peter Brower. Peter served 25 + years of his life in the service and safety of the town of Dalton after retiring from his beloved career with FDNY on engine 88 ladder 38. In his career with Dalton Peter had various roles such as Firefighter, Driver/Engineer, Lieutenant. Peter, you will always live on in the hearts of your fellow firefighters.
