Got your tickets yet for our next Jazz concert on Saturday, 9/19? We are presenting the Hot Club of New England, a band co-led by vocalist Atla DeChamplain and her husband, pianist Matt DeChamplain. Along with violinist Jason Anick and Bassist Greg Loughman, the HCNE reimagines the Great American Songbook and presents original jazz compositions as well. Should be a hot night in the old town hall! 😉

As part of the annual Housatonic Heritage Walks, visit Baldwin Farm and West Center with Town Historian Bob Salerno on Saturday morning, Sept. 26th, as he talks about an important part of our early community and its manufacturing and quarrying activity. A program from one of our Cultural Partners that might interest you: The Berkshire Theatre Group and The Du Bois Freedom Center are presenting a staged reading about Elizabeth Freeman at the Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge at 2 pm, Thursday and Friday, August 20-21.

Hope to see you at Old Town Hall on Friday, September 11, when the authors of this gorgeous book will be talking about this newly reissued edition. The event is co-sponsored by Shaker Mill Books. A reception and book signing will follow the event.

The program features piano classics including works by Mozart, Rachmaninoff, as well as Philip Glass's score for the film "The Hours". $25 suggested donation. All proceeds will benefit the maintenance and upkeep of the church's historic Johnson Organ.

We were happy to host Berkshire Art Center's "Summer in the Studios" Art Camp in our Vaber Hall. It was great to hear the happy buzz of the kids as they let their creativity run wild.
