Geometry students in Lisa Foos’ class recently combined mathematics, creativity, and a little fun while constructing icosahedrons — one of the five fascinating Platonic Solids!

This special version highlights the interior structure formed by three golden rectangles, giving students a hands-on look at the beauty and complexity of geometric design.

We are proud of the hard work, creativity, and problem-solving our students continue to demonstrate every day at TTAE!

This past weekend, 8th Graders in Mr. Brandt's American History course took a trip to our nation's capital, Washington D.C. to witness the many monuments and memorials dedicated to the historical figures they've learned about this year along with the many US citizens who served our country fighting to protect freedoms in the battles and wars that shaped our nation and the world.

Yesterday was a great day for our students here at TTA.

Juniors in Mrs. Kubiak's Alternative Energy Career Pathway presented their research projects at the GLOBE Mission Earth Student Research Symposium at the University of Toledo. All 7 teams did a fantastic job presenting on alternative energy topics to judges from multiple universities. However, one group deserves special recognition. Among the 10 schools and over 60 teams that took part, juniors Rosalie Dyer, Karmen Jahns and Dietrich Schwab took home the Overall Best of Show/1st Place Award for their research on "The Effect of Meteorological Parameters on Air Quality."

In addition, Graduating Seniors Dylan Baxter and Draeden Ellis were the keynote speakers for the event, speaking about their senior capstone project, "Air Quality Sensors" (with Junior Cameron Sherette as a collaborator). All three of these students earned 3 State Industry Credential Points for this project on community impact from Lead for Change!
